Teewakcak Workshop Series

Melanie Tallmadge Sainz (Ho-Chunk) is an award-winning mixed media artist and Director of Little Eagle Arts Foundation (LEAF). She will provide a hands-on workshop integrating natural porcupine quills and beads. Participants will create bracelets or chokers as a memory of this shared cultural experience.
This FREE art series takes place on select Thursdays outside the Nature Center at Tee Wákacak, (Ho-Chunk place name meaning Sacred Lake), renamed as Devil’s Lake.
