Teewakacak Workshop Series

Effigy mounds are sacred sites that are found throughout the park. Rob Nurre, historian and former president of the WI Archaeology Society, will guide participants in engaging with these sacred sites and creating a lasting memory of their experience.
This FREE art series takes place on select Thursdays outside the Nature Center at Tee Wákacak, (Ho-Chunk place name meaning Sacred Lake), renamed as Devil’s Lake.
